Prayer Life

If you’ve ever been plagued by doubt, fear, and unbelief, you understand the paralyzing hold they can have on your life. You bow your head in prayer and lift your hands to the Lord, but the words you pray seem to bounce off the ceiling and fall to the floor around you. Simply  put, those prayers went “unanswered.”

You knew something had to give, so you decided to step out in faith. You called on Pastor Gadsden, the Ministerial Staff, or the Deacon Ministry searching for intercessory prayer that would come into agreement with the truth on your behalf.

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING

Colossians 1:9 says that we are to pray continually, both for others and ourselves, in the Spirit. Paul wrote that he didn’t stop praying for the saints. He understood and wanted Believers everywhere to understand that when we cover others in prayer, we sow seeds into their lives, and the same is sown back into ours. This is why the Apostle Paul did not cease to pray and instructed his co-laborer, Timothy, to do the same.

  • “For this reason, we also, since the day we heard it, do not  cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the  knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding…" Colossians 1:9
  • “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers,  intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men… For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God, our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one  God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:1, 3-5

As a result, there was a release in the spiritual atmosphere—a  release activated by the power of agreement in prayer that equipped you to take the action steps needed to promote you to a new level of faith.  As the Holy Spirit guided you, you were able to make the changes in your life to walk in victory.

Let us stand as one, united in prayer, and grow in faith.

  • Empower others to break free from the chains that hold them back from healing, prosperity, and freedom (James 5:16)
  • Encourage our intercessors to continue praying in the Spirit and coming into agreement with God’s truth (Hebrews 12:1)
  • Establish a degree of truth in your own life that will be multiplied  and released according to His glory in Christ (Philippians 4:19)

WILL YOU SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF NEW HOPE - ACCABEE:

  • By praying for its growth
  • By inviting the unchurched to attend
  • By warmly welcoming those who visit

“To the church…we always thank God for you and pray for you constantly.” (1 Thess. 1:2) “The Master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country  lanes, and urge the people there to come so my house will be full.” (Luke 14:23)  “So, warmly welcome each other into the church, just as Christ has warmly welcomed you; then God will be glorified.” (Rom. 15:7)
